Q. Can I vote more than once for the same story?

A. No, please only vote once per story. We reserve the right to remove votes that we believe to be fraudulent or disqualify the entry altogether if we believe cheating is occurring.

Q. How will the winner be decided?
A. The top three entries in each age category, as decided by the average rating awarded by public vote, will be given to our independent judge who will decide the ultimate winner. This means the story with the highest average rating in each category will not necessarily be the winner.

Q. What are the prizes?

A. The winner of each age category will receive on of   three Apple Ipod Touch mp3 players. The runner up in each age category will receive Apple Ipod Nano mp3 player.

Q. When will the winners be announced?

A. The winners of the International competition will be published online at www.numberworksnwords.com during the week commencing ______ 2010.

Q. Can I enter two stories?

A. There is a limit of one entry per student.

Q. How does it work?
A. Choose a category, read the story and post your vote for each by clicking on the number of stars you think each story deserves.
10 stars = loved it! superb story.
1 star = not my favourite
Be careful! You only get one vote.

Q. I clicked on 10 out of 10 but it says I voted 4.5, what is going on?

A. Once you have voted the average rating for that entry is displayed.
