English Manager: Carol Yeo

Hi. I began my working life as a Primary teacher. I left teaching to raise my family and during this time I studied extramurally through Massey. When the children got a bit older I changed to internal studies and completed my Masters in History.

I have always loved the subjects of History and English and when I find a moment to spare I enjoy reading - usually historical biographies or classic novels.

My other hobby is mosaics. I have moved into doing glass mosaics & I love the colour & versatility this medium affords.

As for work, the main reason I enjoy running the English programme is the kids - I love to see the spark in their eyes when they "get it". It is exciting to see how success lifts their confidence and leads to further learning.

Hi, this is our family - all of them. As you can see, we love animals and spend as much time with them as we can. When we are not at work, you can find us doing stuff around the farm with the animals and I particularly like riding my horses.

Carol and I love working at NumberWorks'nWords and really enjoy seeing the growth and development of each child. We treat our own children as individuals and that is exactly how we see yours at NumberWorks'nWords. That is why we spend quality time during the first lesson to determine what YOUR child needs.

Our aim is to have a really fun and positive environment where your child can thrive.
